YOUR VOTE YOUR RIGHT (YOVOYORI) ˂˂YVYR˃˃ is a civil not-for-profit institution with limited objectives dedicated to voters education, civil duties. As crystal clear, the principal objective of this institution is to provide adequate voters education to the Liberian voting public to the extent that every vote cast will be valid, and voters will be educated on the voting processes and be confident about their votes.
Principally enough, this institution will draw up the publicly consumable lessons and information from the provisions of the Liberian Constitution regarding civil duties/responsibilities to remind or reawaken Liberians on the remedies to uphold the State of Liberia with the pride of our quota to the nationhood of the “one love for Liberia.”
On the other hand, this institution has no interest, controlling strategy, or methodology to determine for which candidate or candidates' Liberian voters will cast their votes in any form of elections in Liberia at any given time.
As it is said from the ancient world of experience, “an informed society produces a good and healthy atmosphere for societal life and normal living.” All about this institution started with the dream of Mr. Moses Moore, who saw a quiet Liberia, its citizens walking on chuck line under umbrellas on a bright shining land with a rainbow above the land.
The call of Mr. Moore to interpret the dream that he had brought a cross-section of Liberians together in the United States of America that interpreted the dream as an institution to be called and styled as “Your Vote Your Right” (YoVoYoRi), whose purpose is to devise a strategy to help distribute copies of the Liberian Constitution and provide voters and civil duties education throughout the length and breadth of Liberia. The founders of this institution believe that the process of voters and civil duties education will fortify the emerging democratic culture in Liberia.
Mr. Moore hails from a different background of thought. He is a professional mechanic (Doctor of Motors). He had professionally worked as a mechanic over the years with leading American motor service corporations. He established and managed professional motor service garages in Chicago, Illinois for many successful years. For the most part, Mr. Moore is a retired mechanic with the passion of “one love for Liberia” to rise and shine.
